The primary purpose of the ‘Friends of Daniel’s Den’ is to fundraise.
Daniel’s Den is a voluntary organisation that seeks to serve the families in local communities in Brent and beyond. It does not receive central/local government funding and relies on donations, grants, session fees and fundraising activities as the main sources of income.

Did you know?

£5 can pay for the fruit for one of our Daniel’s Den play sessions (we have 195 sessions a year)
£12 can help a parent and child go on a coach trip to a local farm
£10 can enable one of our volunteers to attend a training session  i.e. first aid, face painting
The Friends of Daniel’s Den organises fundraising events and activities throughout the year – check out our list of events!

Fundraising- ways you can help!

You can choose to make a one off donation to Daniel’s Den or become a regular giver. Follow this link.
You may wish to consider holding a fundraising event and we would be pleased to provide further information or discuss ideas.

We produce hand painted plates to raise funds for Daniel’s Den. £7 per small plate and £10 per large plate. We usually organise these in the toddler group session either before Christmas or Mothering Sunday. The date of our next one is May 21st 2019 at St Michael’s, Stonebridge.

Funny Bunny

Funny Bunny is our champion fundraiser and ambassador. He joined the Friends of Daniel’s Den in June 2013. He has done sponsored hops, organised a game called Top Carrot, been on sponsored walks as well as publicised the work of Daniel’s Den.

He may be popping up at various local events as he seeks to promote Daniel’s Den wherever he can!

The Friends of Daniel’s Den is also committed to keeping past/present and future members/supporters informed about Daniel’s Den through social events and our newsletters.

Social events

We aim to organise a variety of social events through the year, as well as the usual trips, picnics etc.

These will give the parents and/or children the opportunity to renew old friendships and make new ones. Our motto ‘together everyone achieves more’ is a thread in all we do. If you have any ideas regarding events or activities we could organise or be involved with then do let us know i.e. youth clubs for our children, fun days, trips etc. We will include these in our newsletter.

We produce a newsletter three times a year. Our Facebook page will also keep you up to date as well as out Twitter account.
